Maker Space Co-ordinator position open

Jabiru Community College (JCC) is based in Bracken Ridge, North Brisbane. It is a young, small community that provides education for 75 young people seeking a flexible, caring and holistic approach to learning.

The Purpose of this position is to:

• To help grow, through coordination of a Maker Space, opportunities for all community members to learn through doing/making/tinkering.
• To develop, coordinate and deliver hands on learning opportunities that help young people feel creative and capable and provide opportunities for them to participate in and contribute creatively to their community.
• Work with other college staff to help link young people with opportunities in the wider community that can support and extend their lifelong learning and 21C skills.
