Year 9 Brewarrina Central School student Alkira Hart is currently interning with Brewarrina News as part of the Big Picture program, under the guidance of mentor Katherine Matts.

Alkira has just had her second article published in the paper in which she looks at the Big Picture program and reports on the visit by BPEA founder and managing director Viv White, and colleague Grace Vaughan, to Brewarrina last week. Our congratulations to Alkira.

Thanks also to the Brewarrina Central School principal, teachers, advisors, aides, staff, parents and students - and the community at large - for welcoming us into your school and town. Great to see the Big Picture design embraced with such success. We look forward to our next visit.
