Leaving to Learn: In the Orange Community

Image

At the Big Picture Academy at Canobolas Rural Technology High School, the students regularly ‘leave to learn' about their interests in the Orange community. They do interviews, shadow days and internships with local mentors and get a taste of the real world while still at school.

This suite of videos was produced for the Sally Foundation, who support the Big Picture Academy at Canobolas.

Mike and Geraldine Roche of the Sally Foundation are big believers in the importance of building strong networks between the community and young people in the region, so as to improve their educational and employment opportunities.
