Sophie is a Year 10 student at James Fallon High School. She enjoys creative projects, animals, and sustainability. After coming across a study where three households in Belgium were given chickens and greatly reduced their waste output, she decided to combine these interests to build her own chicken coop. She was able to apply math, construction, and planning skills to do so, and now has three chickens of her own.
