Facilitated by WA Coordinator and Coach Brooke Burns and WA School Coach Eric Radice the event will mark the first of its kind in celebrating the success of BPLA across WA. We intend to run a similar program at the end of each year from here.
This event will take place over two days and will include the opportunity to gather for more conversations and light refreshments together after day one - some finger food provided - drinks may be purchased at own cost.
Participants may wish to register for the entire event, one day or purely to attend the after workshop gathering.

Day One: 9am – 3pm Yule Brook College - The year that was…
- Checking in with each other
- Sharing our stories – we ask each school to prepare a short presentation (10 mins) to share with the group which highlights and celebrates success in their context.
- What are we noticing? Opportunities to push further in.
- Tour of YBC and student panel
Networking Soiree: 4pm – 6pm Gosnells Hotel
Time to gather together with others doing the work to broaden your network and celebrate the year.
Day Two: 9am-2pm Yule Brook College – BPL in WA, The IBPLC and Capturing Student Stories to Tell the Story (Data collection methods)
- Checking in with each other
- National and state update
- The IBPLC – resources, expectations of schools, alumni stories
- The place for data collection in our schools.
- Capturing student stories
