The Big Picture Exhibition Evening is an opportunity for parents, students, educators and interested community members to find out more about the Big Picture learning design, Big Picture schools and academies. You'll have the chance to have your questions answered by Big Picture Advisory Teachers and School Coaches and learn how to get Personalised Learning programs started in your community.
The evening will be hosted by Big Picture CEO & Co-Founder Viv White AM, and will involve panels, presentations and interactions with current Big Picture students and teachers.
Big Picture as an organisation does not start and run schools, but we work within systems to establish and support them, usually via invitation from a principal.
Most Big Picture schools are public, some are independent.
Some schools use the Big Picture Design for the whole school, others start with a Big Picture Academy with 1 or 2 advisory classes.
Schools can get started with Big Picture in a way that suits their own context and be formally supported by Education Departments.
The Big Picture design for learning is not resource-intensive or expensive.
The Exhibition Evening is a fabulous opportunity to meet and network with like-minded parents, educators and interested parties in your community while learning about the Big Picture approach to transforming the way we do education for our young people.
Venue to be confirmed.
