WA Network Day - Term 2 2024

We invite you to engage in this wonderful opportunity to spend a day with other BPL Advisory Teachers and leaders as we tour Thornlie Senior High School’s BPL Academy and spend time networking and sharing ideas about the BPL design.

WHAT WILL THE DAY INCLUDE? 

A workshop specifically focused on WHAT’S IN A LEARNING PLAN?

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Share examples of the Learning Plans they are currently using (Please bring copies).
• Consider how LP’s are being used including the relationship that students and families have with them and the use of LP Meetings to ensure that “Families are enrolled too.”
• Further develop and deepen their understanding of the role of Learning Goals in LP’s and in gaining greater depth in student work.
• Determine the next steps to action upon returning to school.

Throughout the day we will also:

• Provide an update on our work with the DOE.
• Let you know what is happening for BPLA both here in Australia and internationally.
• Share and write student stories.

This is a members-only event. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
