We invite you to engage in this wonderful opportunity to tour Thornlie Senior High School’s Big Picture Academy and to utilise the chance to speak with other Big Picture Education teachers and leaders who are at varying stages of their Big Picture journey.
As a network we understand the importance of student stories in helping to explain and reflect on our work. With that in mind, we will utilise our time together to engage in a session dedicated to data collection through student stories with a view to gathering this information annually by design rather than by default.
We are interested in tracking Big Picture students while they are at school and once they leave as we follow their post school journeys.
Our aim is to have you leave this session with a plan for better implementing data collection processes in your school through the lens of BPL.
There will be an update on the state of play for BPL nationally and internationally too.
We encourage schools to send at least one member of their team to each network day throughout the year, to maintain connection to the network and to act as a conduit for sharing back with colleagues.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided
