BPEA would like to extend an invitation for its Western Australian schools to join us once a term throughout 2019 in a series of Network Days. The intended purpose is to provide an opportunity for Big Picture advisory teachers and leaders to work collaboratively to further grow their understanding of the design in a way that enriches their practice and deepens the engagement of students throughout our schools.
It is our intention each term to have a different school host the day and in doing so provide participants with a tour of their site and an insight into how the design is implemented in their context.
The remainder of each day will be led by Eric Radice (School Leader and BPE School Coach) and will include:
- Opportunities to network with others also doing the work
- Exploration of challenges arising for participants in schools with a view to working collaboratively to find solutions or enhance practice through digging into the key elements of the design
- updates about the current state of play for BPEA.
Viv White Co-founder and CEO will be in Perth for the week and she and John Hogan will provide an update on our National Graduate Portfolio Project, innovation in the international and national network and new work that is emerging in schools and other settings.
We would encourage schools to send at least one member of their team to each day to maintain connection to the network and to act as a conduit for sharing back with colleagues.
Workshop three will be held at Midland Learning Academy, 22 William St, Midland on Monday 19th August 2019.
Cost: $150 + GST per head (This is a members only event)
Morning tea and lunch will be provided
