WA Network Day - Northam Senior High School
We invite you to engage in this wonderful opportunity to tour Northam Senior High School’s Big Picture Academy and to utilise the chance to speak with other BPL teachers and leaders who are at varying stages of their Big Picture journey. The day will also have a focus on cross school moderation where we will lead you through a moderation session for the International Big Picture Learning Credential. As such we ask those attending who have students registered in the IBPLC to bring student work as evidence of achievement across a particular Learning Goal (Assessment Frame). We will use this work to moderate in small groups and to deepen our understanding of the processes associated with our one of a kind international credential. As always we will take the chance to engage in collegial conversations about our work with a particular focus on “Outlearning and Social Action Projects."
We encourage schools to send at least one member of their team to each network day throughout the year, to maintain connection to the network and to act as a conduit for sharing back with colleagues.
Opportunities to carpool may be arranged between schools.
