University of Wollongong Summer Masterclasses available for BP students

As part of our new collaboration with the University of Wollongong (UoW) to roll out the Big Picture Graduation Portfolio project (an alternative pathway to higher education), the UoW is now offering it's Summer Master Classes to Big Picture students free of charge. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to dip their toes into university academic life; an opportunity that Big Picture students may want to grab with both hands!

The UoW is inviting Big Picture students to participate in the Year 12 HSC Summer Master Classes in January 2018. This program targets high achieving students who are currently in Year 11, and provides them with the opportunity to maximise their HSC results by undertaking a three week university-level subject. The program provides students with the opportunity to kick-start their HSC year, while experiencing life as a university student. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a guaranteed UoW Early Admissions interview as well as credit points towards a UoW degree. There are eight subjects available for students to select from, each of which refer to and extend upon current HSC curriculum. All subjects are being offered at the UoW Wollongong campus and, for the first time, three subjects are available at the UoW South Western (Liverpool) campus).
