Poppy StarInvitation to all Graduation Portfolio Project schools

We are now in our 4th year of the Graduation Portfolio Project.

Several of you in our network schools have now successfully had students enter work, TAFE or university using the Graduation Portfolio, while others of you are embarking on this for the first time.

Come along to the Networking Day on Monday May 13 to share your experiences with colleagues in other project schools, to ask questions and to build your confidence in the process.

The day will include:

  • Moderating student work samples to gain confidence with assessment standards
  • Building a rigorous approach to assessment of senior student portfolios
  • Learning about processes to take the GP Project forward in your own setting
  • Receiving project updates, including the micro-credentialing joint project with the University of Melbourne.

This work will be led by Ann Hill—National Project Coordinator, Viv White—CEO and Jayne Johnston—Chair of the BPEA National Accreditation Panel.

We encourage project schools to send at least one member of their team to maintain connection to the project network and to act as a conduit for sharing back with colleagues.

Students are also valued participants.

To assist in our planning please register by Wednesday 3 April.

If you have any enquiries please call Cigdem Zabaras on (02) 9590 5341.

Further details about student work samples will be sent to participants closer to the workshop.

We look forward to seeing you on May 13.
