ATOM and the partners behind THE OASIS documentary Schools Initiative - Shark Island Productions and The Caledonia Foundation - take pleasure in inviting teachers and lecturers to a presentation workshop about the next phase of THE OASIS Outreach and Education Campaign.

THE OASIS initiative is designed to assist teachers to develop the capacities and knowledge of young Australians to become concerned, committed citizens and leaders of the future in social policy.

Our colleague Peter Morgan pointed out the following article as a follow up from Linda Darling-Hammond's recent presenation.

You may have seen the ABC documentary about the OASIS youth centre in Sydney. It was an incredibly touching protrayal of youth homelessness and people trying to make a difference.

Our partners at the Caledonia foundation helped produce the documentary and have made a terrific resource available for teachers.

Personalised videos for BPEA schools

One the key roles of BPEA is supporting Big Picture schools with resources and tools to support and promote their work. In doing this, we work "one school at a time" and customise the materials to take account of different contexts.

Recently we produced a Big Picture promotional video tailored for Jordan River Learning Foundation, Senior School (formerly known as Bridgewater High School).
