Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation Supports Big Picture Education Australia

Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation (VFFF) recently decided to support Big Picture Education Australia. And Big Picture is grateful. Support at this time of significant growth is very important.

VFFF has a mission to ‘seek opportunities to benefit and care for Australians and our country.’ One of the Foundation’s four central themes is Education.

Big Picture Education Australia is committed to starting innovative schools and programs and influencing education in Australia. We have a design that educates one student at a time.

Education in Australia is a critical issue and many people have joined the debate about how the future will look.

‘Many schools in our network are not wealthy,’ says Big Picture founder Viv White. ‘The learning community in those schools – teachers, administrators and parents – want to do better with student learning and community satisfaction. The Foundation is helping us help those schools. It will make a difference. We thank the Foundation for supporting our work.’

The Foundation’s support will assist some NSW and Queensland schools develop the new design in their learning communities and directly assist students, their families and communities.

In the near future, we’ll report on the progress of the work and the effect that the Foundation’s support has had.
