St Johns Park High School is a large co educational school in south-western Sydney providing a comprehensive education for an area that is rich in a diverse range of cultures. The school prides itself on a harmonious, well-disciplined student body. 86% of the students are from language backgrounds other than English; from more than fifty different countries and contribute to a very rich cultural mix.
The school achieves strong results in external high stakes assessment, with students gaining value significantly. Retention and attendance rates are high.
St Johns Park is a Big Picture Exploring school; it joined Big Picture Education Australia in January 2010. It sees Big Picture as offering benefits to its students of individualisation and personalisation, community capacity building, commitment to quality.
