Situated in Devonport on the North West coast of Tasmania, Reece High School has been rebuilt on its original site after fire destroyed 90 percent of the school in December 2000.
How does Big Picture Operate:
Reece is a Big Picture Inspired school; it joined Big Picture Education Australia in April 2010. Reece has six Advisory Groups in Year 10, each with 23- 25 students. Students spend eight out fifteen blocks a week involved in Big Picture learning. Students participate in separate Health and Wellbeing classes twice a week and four Realising Potential (Option) classes per week.
