You are invited to the Big Picture Education Australia 2016 National Conference. Attendance at this event will help you understand better how and why the Big Picture learning design has generated so many different and exciting stories of student engagement and learning.
People at the heart of the Big Picture network look forward to sharing their practice. Students, teachers and leaders will present and lead interactive workshops, and conference participants will meet and learn from each other in daily advisory sessions.
Additionally, five combined Town Hall sessions will focus on current, wide-ranging themes vitally connected to Big Picture learning and practice:
- Portfolio entry to university and other higher-education pathways
- Research on student learning in Big Picture Learning contexts
- Working with remote, regional and Indigenous students
- Engaging and re-engaging young people in learning
- STEM: What Big Picture offers
The 3-Day 2016 Big Picture Conference includes:
- School visits
- Tinkering, making and creating workshops
- Conference networking events
- Conference dinner - at 6pm on Thursday 1st September at Bathers Beach House, 47 Mews Road, Fremantle
