Big Picture Education Australia announces a US Study tour for August 2010

Join us on a visit to the Big Picture US schools and conferences.

There are 100 or more Big Picture schools operating in the US. They are successful and sustainable.

Join us to see how they do it. Share your insights with your US colleagues.

Big Bang

The Big Bang Conference brings USA Big Picture Schools together to share and grow.

Our tour includes the Big Bang. The Big Bang is in Rhode Island on August 4, 5 and 6 at the Met. RI

Visit a School

The tour will also include visits to several Big Picture schools.

Interact with students, advisors, mentors and others. Find out what you need to know.

Expression of Interest

The US Big Picture system is large and diverse with many things to see and do.

We want the tour to be focussed on your interests and needs.

So, we ask you to express your interest in the tour and the things you'd like to see or learn more about.

We hope to be able to tailor the tour to suit your needs.

Tour Leaders

Your tour will be lead by people who know the schools and the people, and will help you access the heart of the Big Picture project.

Tour leaders include Viv White, renowned educator and Director of Big Picture Education Australia, along with other educators who have been working with Big Picture ideas.

Estimated cost

The tour package includes airfares, accommodation, transfers and so on.

We estimate the cost will be approximately $8000 - $10,000 per person.

Big Picture member schools will get a discount.
